I am at a pedestrian 145k on my 98 GS400.
Not much has gone wrong for me.
Just the dreaded Door lock actuator.
I recently replaced the Ball joints and tie rod ends/misc bushings.
The car still puts a smile on my face every day I drive it.
Luxury Performance and Reliablity. Such a killer combo....

My wife and I own a 99 GS400 with 221k on it, we have owned it since 2003 and it is her daily driver. She just got back from a 550 mile round trip averaging 26 mpg. Car is in very good condition except for the clear coat peeling on the hood. Ball joints were replaced a few months ago but that is to be expected at that age and miles. We are way overdue on the 180k mile service, timing belt change but just don't have the $$ to do it now. What a great reliable car
