Default 1st Gen. GS Headlights

Hey, guys. I would appreciate any help I can get on this subject.
Does anyone know where to get clear corner headlights for the 1st Generation GS300s? I've got a silver GS and I think it would look so much better with clear corners, but as we all know it's a one piece head light so I would have to replace the whole thing.
Thanks.

You'll probably get more replies if you post in the proper forum (you originally posted this in the SC forum...I've moved it for you).

Yes, the clear corner lights are available but you'll have to have them imported from Japan (a few US shops may carry them though)...they're not cheap.

manaray thanks a lot for the info and thanks for moving my post to the proper place. If I wanna import them from Japan how would I go about it? And the second question is the following will they require any mmmm... special assembly or special wiring, or do you think I'll be able to just pop them right in?

PM GS4Will. He should be able to get you prices on them. There are couple vendors that make/sell them in Japan. The wiring should be the same (but I'm not POSITIVE on this...if anything, it'll be minimal I'm sure)

Manaray...I also have thought about the clear corners. I thought that thats the way they came (JDM). I was wrong.

What is the possibility of breaking out the orange lens from the inside of the headlight like was discussed for the newer GS? I would try it, but it would take all day to remove the headlights and then reinstall them. I'd rather know in advance if it is possible.

Thanks!

The JDM ones I'm talking about are aftermarket ones. Several manufactures make them (Junction Produce has some I think)...

I haven't taken apart a 1st gen headlight so I'm not sure if it's possible to DIY...but I'm guessing it is...
