Default 3 finger gap front 2 finger gap rear

I just got 20" wheels for my 99 GS3 and I have a 3 finger gap in the front and a 2 finger gap in the rear. 20x8.5 front 20x10 rear. 245/30/20 front 275/30/20 rear. Question, if I get 245/35/20 would it fix that 1" difference?

I would really appreciate the help

Well, you'll close the gap a little bit but your car might look like a 4X4 with the fat set-up. Fat set-up is better when the tire is tucked opposed to trying to close a gap.

What do you mean with the tire tucked?

wheel well covers part if not all of the tire

shouldnt your fronts be on 35s?
if you want to close the gap, change your suspension i.e. springs or coilovers

Lowering is a must, there's no way you can close that gap with tires alone. You might want to consider a 245/35 in the front anyway since it'll give a little extra protection for the wheels and probably match the sidewall size of the rears a little better.

Try to remove the spare tire and any extra. My old Es got a near 1 inch drop from my audio setup.

Hey bro, I have your perfect fix!!!!! I just did it to my car, was not looking for anything aggressive just wanted to level off the front and rear. So if you take the Eibach's 1.0 drop and ONLY install the FRONT!!!! Makes the car look nicely dropped, just makes the front have exactly (maybe just a little lower in the front) the same gap as the back. Could not be more happy. Rides perfect! Anyone need some new Eibach rear springs : )
