I ordered mine from SG a couple days ago, and plan installing this weekend, with some pics and a write up; pretty straightforward I'm guessing.

Hi guys,
dex, i did not install the piece, when i went to collect the piece i realized it was too big for the 98 steering wheel.it wouuld NOT look good, the embossed emblem would be in plain view,NOT GOOD . iwould prefer one that would cover perfectly the embossed emblem, untill i get this it will remain as is, i refused to do anything to my car that will take away from the meaning of a lexus ie. quality, grace and style

Well I guess a good way to cut cost would be to use a mold from the emblems on the steering wheel. So there is an exact match out there.
I wanted a chrome emblem on the wheel real bad, but since every car from Civics to Kias have their huge badge on the steering wheel (looks like a cheap center cap) I dunno...

Steering wheel logo
I thought about the same thing. While drinking a few, I got out my product code "199" paint and carefully painted the L. Suprisingly it turned out awesome. I figured what did I have to loose as I could always put the ES badge on..
It looks hella fine though. I'll take pictures if anyone is interested.
I am thinking of adding the es badges to the front quarter panels where the platinum badges are supposed to be.

Please try to emulate the car and have a little class.
Statements like the above make all of us look bad.
I'm not trying to play daddy here...you can do whatever you want. I don't want to put a Club Lexus sticker on my car and have someone say "Oh...you are one of those guys that borrows cars and steals parts off them."
Bottom line...you can afford a Lexus...you can afford a stupid emblem.
Late.
Brent...where in TX are ya?
