Default NAV bypass switch

NAV bypass switch ???
Is there a way to bypass the NAV safety so that you can use it while driving?

I tried to enter a destination while my friend was driving, but got locked out of the system.

someone tried this LONG time ago, but he ended up shutting the speed sensor off so the NAV thinks the car is not moving, so you can access the NAV. Problem is, the map will also think your car is not moving and will refuse to track. So you can only get a reflection off the NAV satellite of your actual location updated every few minutes.

So I guess you can't.

even if you did that, when the Nav resyncs with the sats, it then knows that you're moving so it disables the Nav until you stop. Lexus is trying REALLY hard to make it impossible to use the Nav while the car is moving....that sucks.
