Default Bad Battery and now strange problem with lights

2001 GS300

This morning my car had a hard time starting, turning over really slow. I go to the auto parts store to have the battery checked out, and yes the battery is bad. I get a new battery with more than enough CCA, and now when I hit the remote to close up the car, my lights don't turn off like they have done in the past. Now they stay on for a few secs, I have the lights on the Auto setting.

The battery looks like if it was the original

I had the same issue when my battery died, just leave the Positive (+) terminal on and disconnect the Negative (-) for about 30 mins. or so, reconnect and the problem should be gone.

I think you have to hit the remote twice on lock.
