That's what I traded to get my GS400.

I had a '94 6 speed Legend GS sedan (4 door). The coupe was a bit cramped for me and I'd previously had the original 5 speed Legend Coupe (87). Both were EXCELLENT cars. Too bad Acura gave up those kind of cars - I don't think the CL or TL are even close. The burled walnut on the Legend GS sedan was the best I've ever seen.

I sold my Legend sedan for $17K (:eek in late '99! Made the 2000 GS400 easier to buy! The buyer was VERY excited about getting my Legend. Hope he still likes it wherever he is. I sold it in a week.

Yeah you are right. those are nice cars. I was looking for one if the price is right. But the nice ones I have seen are asking for 15K. too much for a 8 year old car that retailed at 40K...but then again I see 1994-5 supras going for mid 30k!!! still. Oh well, it all about supply and demand. I am thinking about going over to the dark side and getting an acura...I just love the "feel" of the Hondas/Acura better than Toyota/Lexus. but that will be a few more years...(have 3 vehicle now)

Best of luck Brian and thanks for the help you gave me when I first became a member of CL.. Perhaps one day you will be getting the next generation GS but for now you are doing the right thing by getting things together.. Economy seems to be going back in the right direction so the job prospects should start to get better too..
