Default 98 GS400 w/ Nakamichi Ipod Adaptation

I own a 98 GS400 with the Nakamichi Sound system. I am currently using a tape ---> AUX converter to play through my Ipod. However, I am a bit of an Audiophile, and I want to hear the full quality of the Ipod since my old car had an AUX port (Non-Factory Deck). I have heard there is a way mod the 6-CD in a way which you can add an AUX input. However, I'm not sure how this works, and I was hoping I could get some insight. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a big fan of the Nakamachi audio system, and feel that it has very good sound for our car's cabin. The product you are looking for is here http://www.dension.com/sites/default...s-16-02-10.pdf. I live in Toronto, Canada and conacted Kromer Radio (kromerradio.com) and they confirm that it does work with the Nakamcichi head units. The price is about CAD $350, and this is the only thing that has stopped me (thus far) from purchasing it. You can go the DIY route, but for simplicity the Ipod bridge is nice.

Good luck.

Any pics of it installed or anyone bought that you know? I never wanted to hassle with changing the whole Nak set up but would love ipod hook up.
