That is so funny to see you guys talking about Dave Wojo for auto DIY repair projects. I've dealt with him for years during various vintage stereo restorations (another hobby of mine). He is a great guy to deal with. Much, much cheaper than any other source. He has helped countless people over at AudioKarma.

ok, so some of this is covered in other threads but quick explanation ..
theAC vent unit over the nav is held in by 2 clips on each side. pops right out. open the ash tray, and pulls right out. 4 clips holding that in.

theres four bolts holding the nav in..2 on top 2 on bottom, and a ***** of a little plastic fastener next to the bottom right both. that lil sucker was hard to get out. after that, unplug the plugs and the nave comes right out.
then unbolt just the stereo portion (if those are the lights your doign) from the housing.
you need to take off the black front plate. there are 2 tiny philips screws on each side. and a few clips holding it on. be gentle and it will pop off
then on the inside you need to take out the circuit board. theres a bunch of tiny philips screws..take them out, then theres 2 little clips on top holding it in. again, be gentle and pop it out..
take the rubber peice off
best if you have a friend help...
now you have to unsolder the bulb/housing thats bad off the board. its a little tricky, i grabed with pliers, and did each side back and forth and it popped off
hers the new bulb next to the housing
I put the new bulb in the housing, and tried like hell to solder it back on, but couldnt get it to hold. i gave up and soldered the bulb right to the board with no housing.
put it all back together...and bingo. lil dimmer, but it works
