uber sickness man
little overkill on the tranny, but def would be baller....he could buy a hella nice gs for the price of that tranny
I have to say this is one of the cleanest builds i have seen. Tune looks good from the dyno sheet. Very smooth.
I don't know the flow charts on that particular turbo but the exducer appears to be around a .96 . Depending on your fuel system you should see 7-800whp no problem.
As far as the transmission. You came this far, why not opt for this? A little over $20,730 MSRP Pricey yes, but way baller and you won't loose as much boost pressure between shifts.

HKS USA discontinued the box over 10 years ago but from the looks of it its back on HKS JPNs p/n list.

What EFI system are you using? Autronic? AEM? FAST?
Once again, hands down one of the best examples of VIP/EXE tuning in the US to date.

Who did your wiring? how hard was it to hook up the AEM? I have the same swap...turbo is smaller Gt40-67 with HKS F-Con V-Pro...same situation need a better transmission. All your gauges working with AEM? Beautiful car by the way...here is my engine bay...

Damn man, it was all worth the money and wait. The engine came out pretty damn badass. I'm looking foward to see how much power that beast can put down with that monster of a GT45...do I predict 1000whp in your future ? It's even got me jealous with all that chrome in the engine bay
Very nice build and major props to you
Join me down the drag strip for a few passes for a few friendly runs next year when I'm down at TX2k10? I don't want to be the only GS that's out there on the track again heh.

Just a tip: If you plan on putting some real power down in the near future. I'd suggest you swap to the V160 6-speed Supra transmission. It's only around $5.5k brand new which is a bargain considering how much power it can hold reliably. Plan to spend around $2500-3000 for a good carbon clutch and you will be able to run 800-1000hp all day with no problems. Or if you have a little extra money get the Tilton triple plate carbon clutch it costs $5500 but it can hold 1200+hp all day without breaking a sweat(that's the one I'm planning to put in my car when I do my 6spd swap).
Only thing is that you will need to rebuild the engine with a stronger internals since the stock GTE bottom end can only hold around 700-800rwhp reliably. People have gotten stock internals to run 1krwhp mark but their engines don't survive as long as a fully built block with all forged internals.
