Anyone here have DVD player or TV Tuner in their car?
I just have a few questions....
1-Are there any DVD players available now that are touchscreen?
2-In terms of the TV Tuner.....which one do you have?
How many channels do you get in, is the reception good? Is it better in some places than others, etc?
Thanks.

Kenwood has a touchscreen Mobile TV---KVT-911DVD (I think that is the model number). It's a 6.5 inch widescreen TV with built in TV tuner and it comes with the brain. It's a really nice setup, my friend has it on his new Maxima. The only thing is that you will have fingerprints on your screen all the time.
Also, Kenwood has also come out with a 7 inch widesreen touchscreen TV---KVT-M700. Both of these TV's come with the Sirius Radio setup ready to go.

AP, I just coincidentally emailed you, as I was searching the archives and saw you knew a lot. So if you could answer that email-Id appreciate it.
The Kenwood....what does that run pricewise?
I am looking for that tv tuner and dvd package....specifically the Pioneer one, but you will see that in the email.

IMO, I like the Pioneer Setup---it may cost a little more, but I have extremely satisfied with mine. The color, picture, quality.
I have the:
Pioneer AVX P7300DVD (7 inch widescreen, in dash DVD)
Pioneer AVM P8000R (Brain)
Pioneer GEX P7000TV (TV-Tuner)
2 Pioneer AVD W6010 (6.5 inch widescreen monitors for rear)
Pioneer CDX PD6 (in-dash 6 disc CD Changer)

Yes, that is BS----you can set up to 12 different stations on, I think, 4 different settings---so a total of 48 stations. The back has a specific wire that links into you factory antenna for the AM/FM stations.
Also, i'm trying to find some deals for you---can you e-mail me back the prices that you got again---i accidently deleted that e-mail.
Thanks
