Default help wanted after alarm install.

so i just got a viper 5901 installed , everything works includeing engine start. only problems is that now the abs lights and vsc and vsc off is on now. why??????

it mite not be linked to the alarm install... might be something else...

the was running perfect before and still feels the same , code only came on after the install.

who installed it ? was it a professional? seems like its a abs wire that went out. was it on right after the install?

a master installer at car toys did the work. he has done all my work before with no issues . yes it happen right after the install. the cars still runs perfect ,just the lights are on.

they have to hook up a wire to the brake to kill the motor. maybe he tapped into the wrong one?

They probably did something when they were probing for the tach and/or brake wire. Take the car immediately back to them, it's not your problem to figure out. Also see if you get the codes cleared and maybe they wont re-appear. If you say the car is still driving fine, the false codes may need to be cleared.

A possible scenario is that they may have started the vehicle without having a harness or all the sensors plugged in and that cased the code to appear. They then finished up the install, plugged everything in as they should and the car ran fine.

I'm going to say that the 3rd ignition is not hooked up, or hooked up incorrectly.

I asked about the location and installers name because I used to work for Car Toys in Houston, just curious if it was anyone I know, so I could give them crap about the install LOL

You may be right... the OP can verify this by remote starting the car and try using ALL the features of the car... power windows, radio, climate control, everything... if something does not work, then installer missed an ignition.
