Thanks for those pictures! We're driving about 50 miles up the road today where there are two other Lexus dealers, hoping to see more of the colors and take a 430 out for a test drive. I think the dealer close to home is just too small. My wife saw that first cinnabar picture and said "Wow!", so we're hoping to see one in person. Thanks again!

I think that's the greatest color in the world....do a search for "what I got my car for X-mas" and you'll see pics of my car....

Same color...I love it.

Cinnabar and Blue make up a small fraction of the total Lexus GS color population (making it quite unique)...

Honestly, I feel that you see the Cinnabar Pearl color a lot less on cars. I see the Blue a lot....but that's just me

Unfortunately it's all just a tease. As I said in my "Why Doesn't Lexus Want to Sell the GS430 Any More?" thread, the GS430 is now only available in black, white, silver, and gold. We did get to see a used cinnabar GS300 in person this weekend, and decided we really liked it. That's when the dealer broke the news about the limited selection of colors. I know most of you probably think I'm crazy to give up a car as wonderful as the GS430 based on the color alone, and maybe I'll change my mind as time goes on, but I don't want to settle for what I perceive to be a boring color just because Lexus has decided to cut a few corners on production...

WOW that cinnabar is nice!

Well, I just called the Lexus 1-800 number because I wanted confirmation from the source that the color choices really are limited to four.

Apparently Lexus breaks the country up into "west", "central", and "east" regions. Here in the west, there are only four choices. The other regions get tiny allocations of black cherry pearl and mystic sea opalescent, but no one in the country gets cinnabar pearl. It is no longer being offered!
