Rear light out indicator on dash problem
#6
I have the same issue. I have yet to figure out what it is.
If I start the car and turn the headlights on, nothing happens. As soon as I start to shift it into drive the indicator comes on. It happens right as I reach reverse. I checked the reverse lights and the correct bulbs are in there and they work just fine...

check your third brake light again. it may look like it is working, but there are multiple bulbs in there. my dash light is on too and it took me three weeks to figure out it was just one tiny bulb out in the third brake light housing. i haven't changed it yet. been kinda lazy

Your signature indicates you have replaced some of your bulbs; probably with LEDs. LEDs will set off the dash indicator even if they are all working.
Just pull the indicator light out of the dash. Takes 10 minutes. How-To is posted here on CL.
