I agree, the totally molded lip begins to lack character, that is why when I wanted to mold mine, the body guy said that I shouldn't completely mold it, so he did it his way. I like it much better. Yes that is a stock bumper with some work done to it.
Mine is molded as well.. You can look in my gallery or do a search on "molded TTE lip".. I like more of the lines shown which gives almost a stock look.
No, I don't think the regular TTE lip has more character. It looks like it doesn't fit and you can tell its an extra piece bolted on (like a cheap kit that doesn't fit right)
The molded lip completes the front bumper, bridging that buck tooth look the stock bumper has. looks cleaner and simple.
There are too many curves that dont match the car otherwise..
