OK, so somehow I managed to nuke my original post, hopefully Dave can pull it back. Duh.....
Anyway, thanks for the props and a gold star to Kyle Harty for the steering column DIY. I'll be attacking that shortly!
The navi was last updated in '03 or so, I'll see what's on offer at this stage. This car also suffered from the DREADED moldy HVAC syndrome. I fixed it initially with the Lysol treatment, but it came back so I had the local Lexus dealer do the drill-a-hole-in-the-evaporator-casing-and-inject-mold-killing-foam-treatment thing to it and that worked......until today when I started to smell the mold again. Back to the Lysol for a re-treatment, something tells me I'm going to be doing this on a regular basis.
The fact that the HVAC defaults to recirculation every time the car is started certainly doesn't help the situation. Dear Toyota.......
Everything else works great, and the quality of the sound system is a pleasant surprise. After the shocks go in its gonna be an oil change to synthetic and a transmission fluid flush. Then, I'm just gonna drive it for a while. I'm really looking forward to the GR2's, the stock shocks are shot on this thing and it corkscrews its way through corners presently. Exciting!
