well i told u guys i would get some pics up. i was up late last night working on dynamatting my roof. here they are, and no i wasnt kidding. i have no sunroof ATM (cross fingers it doesnt rain)





















oh yeah cant pull the car in garage cause im wrenching on my brothers new toy that is now in the garage (its got a 351 in it) although not quite as tall as our last one (we each had one mine with 18" of custom lift) it is tall had to replace to oem tires to get it in garage

dear Lord! The memories of dynamating the roof just such an awkward position to be in to apply pressure! Looking good... should have done a before and after weighing that ish is gonna way a ton!

yeah i thought bout that after i started it...she's gonan be heavy.

all i have left (after working somemore last night are the 2 front doors and inner door skins and a little on the back bench section and then im done dynamatting

already done most of the rear floor boards and im not pulling the carpet to do the front floor board and firewalls. might do some of the b-pillars though

Brian, not sure what kind of box specs you've got in mind but thought I'd throw this out there if you weren't aware. I've been searching around a couple audio forums (getting a '05 XXX 12" for my car) and it seems the new XXX's don't do very well in RE's recommended enclosures. General consensus is that you'd get much better results by going quite a bit bigger apparently, seems RE doesn't want to scare people away by publishing huge box sizes. Here's a review I was able to pull out of my history as an example. http://caraudiomag.com/articles/re-a...r-perfect-bass I was reading on www.caraudio.com/forum and people there seemed to have had similar experience with them.

Not sure what you had in mind or how much reading you'd done but figured I'd give you a heads up so you can look into it before you finalize things.

damn thats crazy! I only did all the seems. Ever think about using liquid sound deadening?

hmmm thanks kyle the box,actual install is the only thing im not personally handling. im turning it over to my audio shop but i will forward this to my builder for him to look at and i appreciate it alot. u finish your BIG 3?

yes, i did think bout it but it is cleaner/easier to install this then removing everything to actually spray it, the right way to do it.


going to work on some pics so i can get them uploaded for tomorrow

well finished the rear door

heres some pics












and i ran out on the front door....even did the tweeter housing.

















just have some of the passenger door, the drivers door, some b-pillars, and some more of the rear seats left
