Rolling Fender Question....
So I'm trying to help a friend w/ rolling his fender. I have an Eastwood fender roller, I've heard that if you do it wrong it could cause dimples. How do I prevent the dimples? Is there a correct way to do it? Any help and suggestions would be great. I've done a search, but really couldn't find anything.....thanks in advance!
Sorry forgot to mention the type of car: yes a 2nd Gen GS300

Are you talking about rolling fenders on a GS? If so, the rears are difficult to roll without dimples, due to the double wall construction. I rolled my fronts without any difficulties on my GS, but I chose to shave the rears. I would recommend using a heat gun -or- hair dryer to heat-up the paint to reduce any potential for paint cracking when rolling the fronts.

Search using key words like shave, roll, dimple etc.
There's a good thread on dimples on the first page of this section.
No need to continue this new thread on the same topic over and over.
There's plenty of good info on the other thread.
Check it out.

sorry, yes its for a 2nd Gen GS300.....and we shaved the plastics where the screw goes. I guess shaving/cutting would be the best for the rear. And you guy's say the front is easier to just roll?

depends how far you roll, my guy rolled mine pretty much just on the edge of the screw holes facing outwards of the arch and i got very minor dimpling like you cant really notice it at all. so theyre rolled about 1/2 - 3/4 flat with no big issues. shaving is easier if you can do it legally tho (i couldnt :P)
