There are about two current threads which has V-LEDS mentioned in them but I didn't want to hijack the threads with my question. So I went on their site and saw that they sell red led tail light bulbs. Just wanted to know if anyone here has gotten any led bulbs for the OEM tail lights. Personally I like the look of my OEM tails so I was thinking of sprucing it up some and not replace the entire housing with LED tails like many here have done.

i actually added more LEDS and some brighter ones from jackson.

v-leds USE A FEW DISCOUNT CODES so see if u can find a current one

btw these are all the bulbs i have EVER bought from them....some are me going back and changing to brighter ones but most are just replacing my oem bulbs and i STILL have a few i wanna change. they have great customer service and there warranty on bulbs is awesome. i spent about 450 with them. hehe

Okay b4 I pull the trigger on these, I'll need 2 pairs (V-LEDS RED 48 SMT TURN/BRAKE LIGHT BULBS 7443 7440 4bulbs) for my outers? Isn't there another option for the inner tail lights than the ED V-STAR M-SMT TAIL/BRAKE LIGHT bulbs? Those seem big to me. Also can you post pics of how your rear tail lights look after this mod.

Thanks man! Judging by the pics, I see more of a difference in the inner lights. To me those always seemed dimmer and dull looking than the outers. At least with the 01+ tail lights. I still will get the outer led bulbs too.

I definately like the plate frame, I'll be doing an install writeup whenever I get my computer back up and running. Its the best thing to do for rear illumination.

I just switched to 7W taillights because a buddy wanted the V-Stars and I wanted to try out something new.

I would think that using white LED's instead of red would be brighter. Just my opinion.
