Around 250 if I drive like I normally do. 320 and up if driving very slow. I have gone another 32 miles after the fuel liight has come on. I think I was cutting it close.

~320-380 miles depends on whether my mood....380 miles if i drive like "grandmama" and crusing with my babe....320 miles if i am "grand master B" and some punks in their "ricermobile" decide to challenge me......very rare do i accept though....do not want to waste my 91 octs on them....

Will,

I totally agree with you. In fact, I have the same thought when some rice rockets challenge me. I floored my car yesterday on 105E to 130mph and they couldn't even get any closer. I guess their stickers couldn't give them the hp boost anymore.

Back to the topic, I get around 300+/- 20 miles w/full tank.

Default Miles on a full tank.

Got a 94 GS300
I get about 360-380 miles on a full tank.
I gas it up with 93 octane.
Regards.

...about 280, but I do like the owner's maniual says to do and get gas at ~1/4 tank, not when the light comes on.

is this a hokey way of getting us to not run out of gas, or is it to save wear on the fuel pump?

The latter; the fuel pump is cooled by the gas in the tank. Get too low and the pump overheats. Overheat too much and it then becomes time for new fuel pump.
