Default I don't know JACK...about jacks. lol

Is this a good low-profile jack? I need to pick one up and fast!

One I found on Ebay:

That's a torin jack. They sell those at the local pepboys store and whatnot.

I'd spend a bit more to get the OTC brand.

I really like this jack more than my AFF because it's so light, but it wont reach the crossmember like my AFF can.

What about this, Henry ?

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=91039

I read some review, people seems pretty happy about it. AND you can find a 33% off coupon in those cars magazine for that exact floor jack. So $59.99 for low profile floor jack....not too bad ?

The 1.5 ton (3000lbs) jacks barely lift a corner of a car??? That sounds strange to me.

I know a few people who had that jack. Some of them leaked and some of them loses pressure the higher you go. My friend returned one after a day because out of the box, it wasn't working properly. If you dont work on your car a lot, you may get by with this jack.

Yeah, I was just at Pepboys yesterday (off of Sunrise hyw) and saw it for $129.99 it is the same exact one. But $129.99 plus NYS sales tax is $141.20 very similar price to the one on Ebay...but I have funds available in my PP account so to spend $3.75 more I won't get a new credit card charge.

The torin and General from harbor freight is the same jack. I bought the one from harbor freight for 59.99, first one broke after a week, seals leaked, and this one has been going strong for about 4 months with no issues.
