Default What's up guys! Been a while but it looks like i may be returning.

Hey fellas. Been a while since i've been through the 2gs forum. I sold my gs3 back in may and since have been driving my 98 procharged cobra convertible. Even though I adore this car, i'm realizing i need something a bit more practical for winter and think i'm past the muscle car phase; i want something bigger and more comfortable (sparked in part by my father grabbing an 06 A8L).

I've got my eyes on a couple LS's right now, but if i can't come up with a deal i'm gonna look for an affordable GS3 with miles on it to carry out the project i never finished (boost, coils etc).

I lurked around a bit and it seems like you regulars have been doing a hell of a job on your cars, i'm very impressed and it makes me want to be part of this community again.

I will miss the cheap replacement parts for the ford though. Freakin IAC valve assembly only costs $50!!

haha we gotta see what happens. there are a few mercedes and BMWs around in my price range that i'm fond of (s430's and 540i's). I really want an LS this time around but they're few and far between around here. So like i say all else fails i'll grab an 'affordable' GS and stick to the plan.

haha, if lexus made an AWD gs earlier than 06 i'd keep the cobra and find one!

See that's a bit of a misconception as far as the cobra's concerned. If you keep up with 4.6l cobras the way you would keep up with a lexus (thank god i owned the GS first) they're really reliable. Can't say the same about the 5.0's or the SOHC 4.6. Plus it pulls like a freight train on crack haha. I test drove a couple other cars with nowhere near the hp and i felt disappointed.
