Default need tires - good shop recommended Nexen

Have Michelin PS AS on my 01 GS430 and need tires. Had Butler tire in ATL recommend Nexen Korean tire. Anyone had these and/or anyone have recommendations? Local tire shops recommend Michelan Exalto, Pirelli Pero Nero, Sumitomo and Nexen.

Feedback appreciated. The Nexen rec is because they are about $600 all in and apparently have had no problems and perform great.

-post size you need
-are you looking for summer or AS (or maybe snow?)?

Are you looking for AS? If so, I like my Toyo Proxes4 I have on now out of the AS tires I've had on my GS (I've used PS AS, Ecsta ASX, ContiExtremeContact AS).

Not sure - I will call tomorrow to find out. Guy at Butler Tire said when they got them in all the employees thought it was a joke as they only go high end....then people started buying them and they have had NO issues, happy customers. He compared it to the Korean cars entering the market super low to get market share.

If you don't have snow in your area. Summer tires provide outstanding traction. I'm running on Yokohama S-Drive OEM rims. It's been almost a year and the tires still looking good. Mostly highway too.
