Default The start of this...

Decided to stop letting my GS sit in the driveway after 4 months of being down. But here is what it's getting.
Built TT VVTi Head (Na head pictured)
BC Springs/Retainers/Valves
BC 272 Cams
Wiseco Pistons
ACL Race Bearing Set
ARP Head stuts/Rod Bolts
HKS Cam Gear
Borg Warner S475
Custom Turbo Manifold
4" exhaust
TT intake mani w/ 90mm TB
Tial WG/BOV
Stock TT rods (They can handle what I want to make power-wise)
HKS Fuel Rail
TI 1000cc injectors
AEM...

That's pretty much what's going into the car, the head is done already just need to go get the thing. And the manifold is already done, need to get to work on the exhaust next after I order the SS pipe and vbands on monday.

So that's what going on with my GS, yeah I need to post more but this should get me started.

How does this setup compare to a swap in terms of cost? I know performance wise it is dependable, what is the real diff between:

A. 2jz-GTE
2. 2jz-GE head + GTE bottom end
3. 2jz-GTE head + GE bottom end

I heard GE + GTE bottom is the best... just don't know why.

Interesting. You have the flip flop of my set up. I have the GTE bottom end and GE head. Can't wait to see how your set up turns out.
