i have 04 Gs300 and I'm want to lower it to 2-3 finger gap i was reading ULTIMATE REFERENCE thread and come across this



its not clear to me that NF210 on G300 will sit lower than on 400. Based on this chart all 4xx will sit lower than 300. right now i have +4 finger gap probably 5 ( all stock car. ) i don't want to lower to much i will be running 18' wheels with it . some pictures that showed eibach pro kit seen to be very low . this char call 1.2 for eibach pro kit and tire rack claims 1' drop

My car (400) is on Eibachs. A conservative drop--a la OEM BMW. Vwynn's drop definitely looks like more than mine, but maybe its the picture or his aftermarket overall tire diameter is slightly bigger than OEM. I'd say I have about a 2 finger gap front and rear.

i have 00 323i also, and front has 3 finger gap and that's whats in trying to do. now if i have 17' vs. 19' wheel will there be difference in gap ?

It's because for the 400/430 it has a higher spring rate. Most companies usually use the same spring/spring rate for the 300/400/430 so hence the bigger drop on the 400/430.
