Default has you GS ever done this to your tires???

after i leave jtrans here in houston to get my suspension adjusted a bit... everythings all good. No more vibrations smooth sailing.
then wed rolls around and my car feels like something is not right. I hear some sound from the rear tire like its off balanced or like the wheel is just rattling on the car because the lugs are loose. i check the rim tire and lugs on the outside all good right? this morning i take the rim off and it looks like THIS on the other side:. it looks like that a little more then a .25 if the tire all the way around what in the hell would cause this? i didnt hit no pot hole anywhere and i just do my normal driving from home to work since i got jtran to lloook at the car also i just bought that tire about a month and half ago

some people say that is camber wear others say it might be hitting something. Hell i dont know. But there is a HUGE *** bubble in my tire. O i am running nexen n3000

bubbles can be caused from stretching...improper psi...belt flipping...

I would take it to a reputable tire and wheel shop and have them scan and measure the wheel to make sure that is not defective.

All the noises I was having with my GS were related to cheap tires ( Nankangs, SP?) I bought toyo t1rs and the car drives like a lex again. Do not buy no brand tire or you will get what you paid for.

someone posted here a while back a website that has a list of the best tires for stretching. I have to say that while Nexen are great, affordable tires, they wouldn't be my first choice for stretching on 19" rims with a heavy, slammed lexus.

EDIT: found it, find your width on the left side, pick a brand from the right side and it'll tell you which tires are the best to stretch on it.

nexen n3000? Never heard of them.

I suggest buying one with a strong sidewall...since you are running them stretched....I recommend Dunlop Direzza Z101...made for drifting = strong sidewalls.

From what I hear Nexen sidewalls are softer which can provide a more comfortable ride but at the cost of possibly damaging the rim easier.

Nexen also makes tires for some rim company, the name forgets me but they make ghetto chrome rims.
