Default cylinder labeling

I have a gs 300 i line 6 how are the cylinders labeled front to back (123456) or back to front (123456).

Closest to the radiator should be one, and the firing order is on the distributor cap. I believe it's 1-5-3-6-2-4, but I'm sure someone will correct me if that's wrong. It's been a while since I've worked on one.

Cylinder number one starts at the front of the vehicle. From Front to Back it's 123456. But the "Firing Order" is like what Big Mack said.
