To be honest I don't think either car could do that to either car. It's basically the same car with rather minor differences overall.

If you smoked a 430 with your 400 you are either modded or that person's 430 is having issues.

I think it is possible but probably due mainly to maintenance issues. I drove several GS400 and GS430 looking for one to buy. Many had poor acceleration. Either car can smoke the other if the other one is not well maintained based on my limited test drives of about 7 or 8 cars. I was surprised at how most did not have normal (fast) acceleration.

As I was exiting the freeway he fly pass me and I say that It was a 430, maybe he taught my car was a 300 cause I debaged mt whole car.

I have an 01' 430 and I would get the 400. I get really annoyed sometimes with the drive-by-wire function of the 430. The throttle response on the 400 is better.

But if your modifying the car then the Blitz Throttle Controller can take care of that .

I do the same thing with this fancy stick called a shifter. Seriously though I downshift when I need the extra go. Works like a charm.

There i am downshifting!!! ----- >

i'm biased.. but i would go with the 400 =D

e-shift FTW

it still amazes me that my car is over a decade old.. and still looks better than 90% of the cars on the streets today
