Car search!!
Hey guys,
i love to surf through craigslist/autotrader for gs's just for fun. i got to wondering, how long did everyone's search for their GS or any car last? was it a quick search as in a couple of days or did you search like hell for the "perfect" one?

It was one of those desperation times where you really need a car. It took me a good 1 month search on cars.com, autotrader.com, and other searches. Then I finally found one on cars.com. Found out the car I wanted soo bad was 1 mile away from my home.

Took me about 2-3 months both times. My first was a 98 GS3 (60k miles). Got it from a dealer in VA (mom & pop) for about $14k. The next one was my 01 GS3 (30k miles), got it from a dealer (Land Rover of Asheville) in Asheville, NC for about $23k. I flew a guy down there to pick it up and drive it back to Columbia, MD. Forgot to say, I only ever saw the car in pictures on the internet!

took 3 long mths and 3 over night test drives .. houston doesnt have a great selection of pre owned gs that were in mint cond. and i only wanted a 04 /05 .. finally got a 05 gs300 for 16,995 with 40,000 w new tires and the 40,000 mile service at a lexus dealership. I think it was a great deal had it for 4 mths

wow, i guess im one of the lucky ones in that i found mine in less than a week on autotrader. it was a 01 gs3 with 80k miles going for 10k. this was a year ago and a year later i still have a hard time finding a gs3 with about that many miles for around 10k.

about 2 days, walked into a used lot with my bro-in-law he bought a car and i ended up with an I35 went in the next day for paper wrk and saw the GS up on the Ramp..! just came in that morning, Blk/Blk.. didnt evan know that was a hard combo to get at the time.. oh and Owner didnt wanna sell it to me tried to tell me i was stuck with the I35!...long story short ! I made the right choice.. and hey i wasn't evan lookin to buy a car!
