Im in love with this car. I can't believe the difference between my old IS300 and this GS430. Only negative is the sub rattles when there is even just a little bass. I've read some threads on here about the sub blowing. Im going to talk to the dealer and see if they will cover it. Otherwise this car is amazing.

I think the wood wheel became standard in 2003. I looked at a few 01/02 GS430s and some had the wood wheels and others didnt.

Deja vu! My car exactly. Same mileage and options (ML, navi, chromes and wing) down to the non-wood wheel. Yeah, the wood wheel was an option, but I don't miss it. Feels sportier w/o it IMHO.

(Just checked my garage to make sure it was sill there ... LOL)

Congrats!!! I still love my auto nearly 6 years later and hope you love yours.

I can't begin to tell you all how much I love this car. I wanted one when I turned 16, but my parents got me an 01 IS300 instead. Now 3 years later I finally got what I wanted. I have to agree that the non-wood steering wheel makes the car feel more sporty.
