why don't you make us a non-chrome trim exterior like on the 540's with shadowline.
Half the reason I got silver on the gs was b/c it helped hide the trim kit. IMHO, all the other colors look too much like grocery- getters (to use a term from my friend)...
Has anyone removed the trim with success??? Do they make body colored inserts?

The trim on the bumpers are just stick ons...you can just peel them off...I would use some dental floss or fishing line to "cut" the adhesive...you can also find someone with a "portable" chroming machine and have them black chrome it.
Another idea (which I have considered) is to have ALL the chrome pieces taked off (bumpers, around the window, logos, etc.....) and have it sanded (to roughen it) and have it painted flat silver...I did up an old Infiniti logo that I had and it looked pretty nice...would imagine it would look pretty interesting on a Silver GS...
