New member 02 gs3 vibration problem
Hey guys, just registered today thought I would ask a question that probably has been asked 100 times before. My car's seat vibrate when going between 100-120 km/hr. A bit of background on my 2002 gs300 (55,000 miles):
May 09 - replaced worn out Dunlop tires with Federal ss595 245 40 18
June 09 - had wheels balanced at the dealer
June 09 had tires rebalanced - same problem
July 09 had dealer check the car over - no problems found
July 09 roadforce balance completed - same problem
July 09 replaced Federal tires with Kumho ku27 (supposedly made specially for luxury sedans 600 treadwear 60,000 mile warranty and so on)
Car drove like a dream for 4 days. Now the vibration is back although not as bad. If i put on the factory 16" wheel/tires drives fine. Loosened and tightened lugnuts to 75lbs as per spec, tire pressure 36 psi all around. Next step pour gas on the car and light on fire - collect insurance dollars and start over. I know nothing about cars but really love this one if it would stop driving like a model T. Thanks to anyone reading this long winded essay, Im just so frustrated and after spending $2000 in the last two months dont know what else to do. Thanks again.

Thanks guys, just had another re-balance today and my drivers back wheel was 1.25 ounces out. Again. The steering adjustment looks like it would help too but there is no way im qualified to go under my car lmao, I will ask the dealer to do it next time i get the car serviced. Thanks for the replies and as soon as it stops pouring outside ill take some pics of the thing. Bought the car in December and love it.
