Default Squeezing more HP out of a v8?

I have a GS400 and have a RMM intake and HKS Hi-Power exhaust. Compared to a stock GS400 (Parents own one) I feel like mine is definitely a bit quicker and sounds ALOT better. So as the mod bugs continue to bite I am now looking at other mods that can increase HP that arent major(such as Turbos/Superchargers). Currently I am thinking of deleting my resonators and going with larger piping. Would it be worth it even though I dont have a turbo or sc setup?

Also, Being not too technically inclined with engine stuff, I have a hard time comprehending the articles I'm reading about Torque Converters and LSD's. What affects do TC and LSD's actually have? Lextreme has a nice article on TC's but it doesn't really says what the gains are, just how i works.

Any advice would help, thanks!

Torgue converters and a Supra Rear end (LSD) can cut your times by.5 second. You won't gain any HP but the car will be quicker off the line and thats just what the 400 needs...

There are some articles about JP headers... I myself have the RMM intake and blitz Nur Spec exhaust.. For a stock V8 our cars really do get up and go..

I've been in a GS430 with Headers, SRT intake, custom exhaust and it was fast..

I think with those mods and a good tune you can gain some HP.. Its harder to gain HP in the 400 thats why everyone has a 300 and does boost..

get headers, You'll gain up to 17 hp (I gained 17) and run an x pipe. Also you can get a super AFC and "tune" it

True thats all stuff you can do.. but I think the OP wants bolt on mods.

Plus, correct me if I am wrong but I have not seen a set of performance cams for the 1uz/3uz motors?

I wonder how the SRT is compared to the RMM intake. The SRT has a piggyback....but the RMM intake is HUGGGGGGGEEE

THe K&N intake yields about 9HP from tests.. I almost got that one instead of the RMM but i got the RMM for a good price a few years ago..

K&N or SRT, Headers, resonator delete, port polish, new tune you should be at the 350 mark..
