Yoda,
Good find on the c-best settings. But these setting are good for 2001 models and higher.
I need an older version of these setting for my 98-00

If you do the same action with unlock (right), you get the roll-down effect same as you would from the remote.

I am a recent new owner of a '99 GS300 and "found" another feature in the user's manual that nobody ever mentioned at the dealership:
When:
1. AC is on, and
2. the fresh air/recirculate selector is set to "auto", and
3. the auto selector has chosen fresh air (for now), and
3. you are drive through a dust cloud or thick truck exhaust smoke, then...
The "fresh air" will be changed to "recirculate" until the dust/smoke condition has cleared + about 10 seconds.
It's really a kinda cool feature when you're driving in rush hour freeway traffic!
Check it out, if you haven't already.
Jim
PS -- I had to change the default sensitivity for this feature from zero to +3 (most sensitive) before this feature seemed to do anything. See the manual for how to change the sensitivity (sorry I don't know what the feature is called, but it is covered in the AC section of the user's manual. From memory, with the car running but in park, press the auto/fresh/auto button until a number pops up in the AC display -- then scroll up and down with the driver's side temperature up/down lever.

Just wanted to bring this old post up from the past. I think it might help some of the new GS owners out there that just recently joined us.
Also, if anyone has anything to add please post up.

Not with the remote, but if you put your key in the door lock and hold it turned all the way to the left (lock), they all roll up / close. This comes in handy when you're out of the car and notice a passenger has left a window down.

Yeah, but my windows still have power when i shut the car off. It's just fun for when I'm trying to impress someone and want to open the windows from a distance.
