Clicking sound from front passenger side??
hi guys! i have a 2001 gs300 and i notice recently that everytime i pull out of my garage that there is a strange clicking sound from my front passenger side... coming out of my garage has a dip so i angle my car to the left and while i am steering left and slowly getting out, thats were the soft clicking sound from the front passenger side starts clicking.. can this mean my ball joints are getting bad? or is there something wrong with my brakes? i only hear this clicking sound when im pulling out of my garage. anyone have a clue what may be the problem?

If you are getting the clicking without brakes being used, then could be your balljoints. I recommend you change them anyway if you had them for more than 70k miles.

yeah, the clicking only happens when i am steering and applying the brakes...i guess its time to get some new rotors because i have been resurfacing them.. do you guys know of any good aftermarket brands for replacement rotors or should i just go oem which i believe would be pretty expensive??

Actually no, Lexus does not recommend resurfacing rotors at all. And the resurfacing 3 times thing is usually counted wrong. You can technically resurface/pad change 3 times. Something like this.
1. New Rotor, new pads = first rotor thinning
2. Resurface = second rotor thinning
3. New Pads after resurfaced rotor = third rotor thinning.
4. Rotors are toast and seem to start clicking.
This varies a little depending on how you drive and how aggressive your pads are. The above is exactly when my brakes start to click.
Mikesblkgs, sending you a PM. Brembo blanks.
