Who thinks 18s are too small for the GS?

I have 18's on my car and they really look good. Its the width that you need to be concerned about if you get a 225 and the style of gs which has a big body wouldn't look good and the rims will look smaller. I have 245/40/18 neeper shadows on my car and they look good. 19's are cool I'm looking to increase, but i'm cool for now

I don't agree. I think tires can make a big difference. First of all, if a tire is too skinny, it increases the size of the fender gap. Second, different tires have different square to rounded 'edges' which makes a difference in the loop. Kuhmos and Bridgestone S03s are square for example, whereas Toyo T1S and Dunlop SP9000 are rounded.

I've just gone from 'normal' to 'fat' 19 setup and I find a BIG difference in overall look (I prefer the fat setup).
