Default Dyno showdown between WR and SRT is a no go! EDIT: WR is GAME!

Link to Club Meetings

Reasons posted there.

WR will be lending me (ClubLexus) intake and ECU for a GS-400. I am asking if ANYONE with a bone stock GS4 in the southern california region is willing to lend us your car on April 26th ,27th OR 28th to dyno?

SP Engineering is only open M-F soo...preferable, we do the dyno on April 26th.

LMK via PM, Email or call me at 949-721-5841.

Default Somebody is holding something back...

Ladies and Gents,

I've been on the board for over a year and have made a few posts. I've also followed all the SRT/Weapon R threads as I would like to purchase one of the products.

First, kudos to all of you attempting to put this dyno day together.

Second, I run a company and I believe in our products and their performance at their price points. We never turn down comparos and we go out of our way to have our product shown, demo, tested and/or compared at every chance we get...period. Our customers deserve every bit of press they can get about our products regardless of how trivial it may be (it makes them feel good about their purchases - it's reaffirming).

Third, with all the finger pointing about who's best and who's not and the reasons why - this IS THE OPPORTUNITY to put everything to a qualified, independent, bottom line. What a wonderful event for both SRT and WR to finally prove their skills!

Fourth, if SRT really wants to make this happen then they should have someone from their facility attend the independent dyno. You think my customers would believe a comparo against my competitors done at my facility? Ahh, my friends - that's called an INFOMERCIAL.

I get a little concerned when companies say they "have nothing to prove." If that's the case then why are they in business and why do I want to buy their products?

SRT - send a tech. to the facility and lock the car in 3rd at 2,500rpm. Test the Weapon R at the same specs.

Again, a BIG KUDOS to you folks trying to put this together - my hat's off to you. I hope these companies DO have something to prove.

Good Luck and thanks for the Soap Box,
Eric Bernstein

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

The dyno will be captured both on video and on film.

Immediately, we will post the results.

I'm locking this thread cuz I started a new one.
