dealer, original lexus part, and hopefully you have insurance, ~1k.
If done from outside shop, I was quoted ~$400-600, for PPM (something like that) glass, not too sure since I went with the first route,

I will try to see if I can fix the ding on the windshield. It's only 1/4 an inch in diameter. Is something like that fixable? I'm hoping I don't have to replace to whole windshield just for something that small.

Dunno bout where you guys live.... but I had mine replaced by an outside company. I had them order the glass from Lexus (which surprised me that they could do it) And they even came to my house to install it 
Dont remember exact price (trucking company that threw rock up paid for it) but I think it was right around 800 bucks for installation and everything.
