I estimate the whole car's black wood kit would be around 1200 dollars........ the whole red wood kit costed close to 1k.

The radio aluminum part you'll have to BUY the new radio...... don't do it

Are the wood parts on the door obtainable by themselves? I remember I asked about a part for the door a while back and I was told (by the dealer and Steve Ganz) that you had to buy the WHOLE DOOR PANEL! (Just like the radio/aluminum panels)That's like $1600/panel!

just like the shifter ring, you'll have to buy the whole assembly now.

I wonder if you want a new gasoline filler cap, will they make you buy a new gas tank

The Lexus dealer here told me you cannot take the parts on the door off or you will damage the door.
Has anyone tried this??

that's a lie you can take off the black walnut wood for the door panel all you have to do is take the door panel off and then take off the six or less screws they are gold colored phillps head screws that are hold the piece on and that's it. i have taken my off so i could send it to aaa exotic wood so they could make a kit for me so they are b.s. ing you

yah it's fairly easy to take the panels off and the wood too. After a few times I got really used to it and each door panel takes about 2 minutes. And it won't damage anything. I drove my car a few days with the panel on but woods off and nothing happened.

But it's true that now you gotta buy the whole panel to get the wood. That sucks.

more expensive than if you buy a piece of titanium and have a shop cut it to fit. The dealer wants you to buy the whole radio to get that silver.
