Default Advice on Y pipe for 2nd Gen GS400

Hi, I drive a 99 gs400 and currently have a apexi worldsport catback exhaust system and a custom intake installed. I am looking into purchasing s&s headers and wondering what y pipe I should couple it with. I can't seem to find any bolt on y pipes. Let me know what you guys think.

...or the stock Y pipe actually flows pretty good as well as Jbrady mentioned in many threads. I actually bought a new OEM Y pipe for my car because I found out there was a crack in it and I was losing performance (and back pressure). It works great now. GL!

Yeah, I had a crack in mine also and had it repaired but I would like to replace it all together. I don't want my stock y pipe to hinder airflow in my exhaust system. I feel that if I have headers and catback, I should go ahead and replace the y pipe. I'm having a problem finding any bolt on y pipe/x pipe's.

I don't think there is for the GS4xx. you can buy prefabbed X pipes, and have weld it up to your exhaust system..there are a couple of threads about it, something to the tune of true dual exhaust systems in the titles.
