Doesn't the GS have translucent yellow tubes around the fog bulbs to make them yellow? So why get a yellow burning or yellow painted bulb that shines through a yellow tube? Isn't that just filtering out more brightness away from the forlights? It would have been better to get the whitest, brightest halogen bulbs and rely on the tubing to create yellow. Am I correct that the GS has a yellow tube in the foglights?

The GS's only come with the yellow foglights if they came with HID.

"Ahhh, I see" said the blind man.... So could you take the yellow tubes off a GS430 and fit them into a GS300? Right now I have clear foglights, which aren't too spectacular. I need something that stands out more like a subtle blue or yellow. I'll probably do the colored bulb thing as well.

There is no way you can swap the tube out, because the only way you can pull the tube out of the original is to break it off.

About Piaa bulb, I have been very happy with their ION bulbs, I have never used the Yellow ones but their super whites last a long time

Sasha, who's Ray?
If you're talking about my post's last week when I got my 7000K HID then yes, they are the same HID's but I adjusted my Digital camera a little bit. They are a little more blue in person. Awesome color. CL member Enginyr saw them in person on Fri. He can tell ya how blue they are compared to his stock HID. If I can get a good deal, I may do the fogs also. Still debating....
