Hi,
35W HID bulbs do not burn significantly hotter than halogen bulbs. HID bulbs do however emit UV which can damage your headlights. We use dual layer anti-uv quartz glass for our bulbs to ensure you guys do not damage your headlights as lower grade HID bulbs that do not use proper materials can eat away at chrome finishes and cause housings to dull. HID bulbs are definitely not made equal =)
