HI Lexus owners

Does anybody knows where the beep sound is coming when your reach 120 km/h? I want to remove it, its really annoying

my GS300 came from Dubai, I think its a standard there that it should have a beep sound when it reaches 120.

Anybody knows?

Is it coming from the navigation? you can turn it off

Its factory install speed warning system... it shouldnt be link to the NAVi. My 89 integra had this and it was a POS. Anyways check out some performance forums u may find luck there. Its very simple but I forgot how its done-sorry

There is this little speaker under the steering wheel on the right side... right under the ignition key hole... just disconnect it

Thanks for the tips! Im hearing the beep sound inside the instrument cluster ( am i wrong?) I dont have the navi so I cant set it there. haay
Ill try to remove the speaker under the ignition

I have never heard this beep before??? There must be a setting somewhere. Let do some looking....

i've never heard it either and i have hit my governor a few times (well when i had the TT diff the governor kicked on at 122)

Why did you import a GS from Dubai? You live in California where there are plenty of cheap GS's for sale.

I live here in the Philippines, we dont have a Lexus dealer here until just January of this year came, so I imported the car before
