Default 90 K maintenance Q's

My '03 GS3 is due for new timing belt- 97K in miles. Can I get by for another 50K without changing water pump as it'll save me $300 on parts/labor? how long do the water pumps usually last?

Also, AT fluid hasn't been done since 30K. Should I do a complete flush or just drain and refill? Thanks.

OK....I'm convinced on the water pump. About the flush, my independant mechanic uses some type of BG sealed system. If I give him the Toyota IV ATF, would I be OK? His rates are just a whole lot more reasonable. Thanks.

always change the water pump when u change the T-belt.. reason being is cuz u gotta take the T-belt to change the water pump... might as well do it now then later..

just imagine how much itll cost to change it later on when it starts leaking.

as for the ATF... i think drain n fill a few times would be good enough.. but if u want a full on flush.. then go ahead.
