Default Where to Get a Grill Painted in OC???

Does anyone know a good place in Orange County to get an RMM grill painted silver. About how much does it cost? Any input appreciated, Thanks.

How about Derek @ Body Pros? I've had good luck with him so far.

McGong,

For OC BodyPros is decent (just don't rush Derek or get on his bad side). If not, RMM do paint their own products.

RA,

Fiberglass... go to JT Autobody in Rosemead. They are masters of fiberglass and frame reconstruction. They have done many car show cars. However, they are moving to a hangar-sized warehouse location in the near future. 20/20 in the City of Industry is good also if you don't rush them.

It's about time JT move somewhere else...... their packed parking lot makes it hard to stop by sometimes, and that freakin huge gapped entrance makes scraping impossible. Not the best entrance to a bodyshop that specialize in lowered show cars
But hey Tony is a great guy to talk to and have things done by (assuming he's still running that place)

v300,

I've lost JT's #. Do you have it?
BTW, how long does it usually take to paint the whole kit? Just curious.

JT is pretty fast at painting stuff. Should be faster than 2020 or other shops. But you should tell them to take their time so they do a good job on it. Sometimes you rush them and things come out less than expected.

Try Frank's Auto body in Huntington Beach off Gothard between Slater and Warner right across the street from Oceanview HS. Ask for Mike Greenwood, he molded my veilside bodykit on my supra and did a great job, but again, don't rush it (guess good things come to those who wait).

Tony and Billy Yip rule! They can have a bodykit done in 2 days with minor fiberglas manipulation. They do have a long waiting list though. However, I highly recommend you tell them to "please take your time pretty please." If you go there check out their front bumper stabilizer... they work great as scratch indicators (but don't tell them I said so).
