Geico settlement price for 1998 GS400 with 74000 miles
My 1998 GS400 was recently totalled after it got hit by a drunken driver. Fortunately no one was seriously injured in the accident. What might be a reasonable settlement price for a car with about 75,000 miles and in relatively good condition?

It depends on your area.

Will try to send a picture of the damage. However, the insurance company is not repairing the damage. They've decided to total the car and give me an amount to cover the value of the car. That's why I would like to know approximately how much a 1998 GS400 with 74000 should be worth now.

Since it was his fault, insurance will probably do what they can to cater to you so you dont try to screw them, the last thing they want is a huge case against them. They will probably give you much more than you would think and probably just excellent high value. I had a salvaged 2003 s10 that I got for free that was in mint condition and a year later I was run over by a diesel, and even with a salvaged title I was giving $11,000 for it and it only blued for $10,000
