Default I need a source for the A-pillar cover on the interior of my GS400.

I am in need of that interior piece that runs up the A-pillar on the drivers side of my car. Its got that kind of crushed velvet feel to it and burns very easily I found out. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem and it never bothered me until lately, when all these little things started going wrong with my car.

Bought the car from a smoker, but he gave me a great price... There's just these little burn spots on it, along with some of the plastic trim at the upper portion of the window.

Well, I went to my local stealership and they wanted $250 for the part and I laughed in his face and left. I called the forum sponsor Sewell Lexus and with discount the part was $167.47. I didn't ask about shipping costs but still much better. I think I might have to ride out to the salvage yard and see what's what, because I don't think the burns bother me $167.47 worth.

I agree, but it would be very nice to get rid of them.

I know. It's right there in your face whenever you're driving. Can't not look at it.

What color is you guy's A pilar?

A few years ago I recoved my left one ( to make a gauge pod)I believe UpstateGS4 recovered both of his w/ fabric I had left over. I got the fabric from one of our venders Leatherseats.com
It was really inexpensive. about $25 for a 54"x36" enough to do both A and B pilars. Just peal your fabric off and reglue the fabric on. go slow to lay it smooth. or pay an upholstery shop $30+ to put it on.

If your fabric is black or gray easier to match 1st see if any local uphostery shops have it.
