Default Are Cold Air Intake Filters recommended?

So I'm new to the forum and I have a question would a K&N Cold Air Intake Filter recommended for or should i just put a regular one?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Generally there's no recommendation from forum people for it to be better then what the car was originally designed, but if you like it go ahead and do it.

um....i disagree man. its def better than the oem design. i rock the K&N and love it.... but K&N does test them to make HP and its better than most people's butt dyno's
