Default Hub or stud replacement?

I think I kinda answered my own question here as I typed. I need to replace my studs, my buddy said that the hub may be made of aluminum and that it will strip when stud goes bad. Question: is that true in our case..

Then I thought, ok everyone has ran spacers thus needing to replace studs so I think that answers my question... You all have replaced your studs by just hammering out the old ones and putting in the new ones right? I bought spacers with new studs, so this all kinda happened at the right time.

However, if the studs DIDNT strip and its on where the stud presses in to the hub... does that mean I need a new hub?
