so i picked up the gs430 thursday night
so i picked up the gs430 last night and drove it up to pa from NY, tomorrow I'm changing my brother brakes on his 04 gx470 then start on the gs with fresh oil, new plugs, rad flush, then next week tranny flush, rear axle flush, the car has 104,787, I'm going to do the timing belt and water pump in the next month or so, also clean the TB. anything else that i should look at, change or oil up or clean. thanks guys, then after all that clean the car inside and out wash, wax, interior shampoo.
Also the center speaker on the gs has gone bad i have the MLS with navi, does anyone know how much that speaker cost and if anyone can tell me if i should get a good used one or change it to an aftermarket one? if so which one and size? the speaker is driving me crazy i had to set the speaker to play from the back ones only the front dashboard speaker is shot

Congrats on the pick up. sounds like your heading in the right direction with the maintenance work. I'd take a look at the ball joints as there is an issue with them. Just search this forum on the ball joints.
With regards to the center speaker you might be able to get a replacement from a member here in the classifieds section.

You can check the power steering fluid as long as you're changing out fluids.
If you're gonna clean the TB, do the MAF while you're at it.
Inspect the serpentine belt maybe?
I dunno, sounds like you got your bases pretty well covered. Congrats on the new 430!

i'll post pictures real so. been busy running around had to go to lexus for brake hardware for my brothers gx as the caliper went bad and then went to the rim shop to get his new rims put on, hopefully ill take a picture of the GS and the GX together
